Who owns my data?
You do. PartsDue runs on your own WordPress website and keeps everything in your own database. Nothing is stored on our servers. You can download all of it at any time from Settings then Your data. See Reports and export.
What happens to my data if I uninstall?
It stays. Deactivating or deleting the plugin does not delete your customers, jobs, estimates, invoices or payments. They remain in your WordPress database until you remove them yourself. Install PartsDue again and everything is back where you left it.
Is there a monthly fee or a per-user charge?
No. You pay once. Add as many office staff and technicians as you need at no extra cost. Card payments through Stripe carry Stripe's normal fees, which go to Stripe, not to us.
Can I use PartsDue on more than one website?
Your license terms on partsdue.com say how many sites your purchase covers. Each website keeps its own separate data. Jobs and customers are not shared between sites.
Does PartsDue send text messages?
Yes, through your own Twilio account and your own business number: visit booked, reminder, on my way, part delayed, parts arrived and review requests. Customer replies come back to the job. See Text messages.
Does it connect to QuickBooks?
PartsDue makes files that QuickBooks Online imports directly: QuickBooks customers and QuickBooks invoices, in Settings then Your data. Every invoice line comes across and the totals match. There is no live two-way sync yet. See Reports and export.
Does it connect to warranty company portals?
No. PartsDue tracks each claim, its deadline and its payment. Copy claim details copies everything the claim needs, so you can paste it into the warranty company's website in one go. See Warranty claims.
Do my technicians need an app?
No. They log in to your website on their phone's browser. It works like an app, with a bottom menu, camera photos and an offline mode for basements with no signal. See Technicians.
My customers aren't getting emails. What do I do?
Your web host is probably blocking email from your website. Install a free SMTP plugin like WP Mail SMTP and connect it to your business email. Then send a test email from PartsDue. See Emails.
How do I get updates?
Updates are listed on partsdue.com. To install one, upload the new zip from Plugins then Add New Plugin and let WordPress replace the old version. Your data and settings stay in place. See Install PartsDue.
How do I get help?
Contact support through partsdue.com. Tell us your WordPress version, your PartsDue version and what you were doing when the problem happened. A screenshot helps a lot. The PartsDue version is shown on your WordPress Plugins page.
Can I get a refund?
Refunds for your PartsDue purchase are handled on partsdue.com, where you bought it. See the refund policy there. Refunds you give to your own customers are made in your Stripe account.
