Licenses and updates.

Add your license key once and update PartsDue from the WordPress Plugins page with one click.

Your purchase includes a year of updates. Add your license key once and WordPress tells you when a new version of PartsDue is ready, just like any other plugin.

Add your license key

  1. Find your key in your purchase email. It looks like PD-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX.
  2. In PartsDue, open Settings then License and updates.
  3. Paste the key and click Save key.

You see Updates are on and the date your year of updates runs until. Only the WordPress administrator can see or change the key.

Update PartsDue

When a new version is ready:

  • Site health and the License and updates screen say so.
  • The WordPress Plugins page shows "There is a new version of PartsDue available" with update now.

Before you update, download your repair data (Settings, Your data, Download everything) or check that your backup plugin ran today. Then click update now. Your jobs, customers and settings stay in place, and PartsDue upgrades its own tables when the next page loads.

To see what changed, click View version details on the Plugins page, or open What is new.

Websites and staging copies

A one-website license works on one website, and a three-website license on three. The first time each website checks for updates, it is counted. Staging and local copies (addresses like staging.yoursite.com, yoursite.local or localhost) don't count.

Moved to a new website? Contact support and we move your license.

When your year of updates ends

PartsDue keeps working exactly as it is. You just stop getting new versions and email support. Renew for $79 a year whenever you like, even after a gap.

Privacy

Twice a day your website asks the PartsDue update server whether a new version exists. It sends only your license key, your website address and your PartsDue version. Nothing about your customers or jobs ever leaves your website.
